Organic wineries and Sicilian vineyards

The wineries in the Boniviri network preserve the native grape varieties, the IGP and DOC of our territory. They produce organically on a regular basis, adopting biodynamic techniques. Enrich your wine list with unique and refined bottles.

Frappato
Cricket
Nocera
Nero d'Avola

RAGUSANO RED WINE

Frappato

Native red grape variety, known for its lightness, fragrance, and smooth drinkability. Offer your customers two organic labels from the Gurrieri winery in Chiaramonte Gulfi: the Frappato in purity and the Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG (40% Frappato, 60% Nero d’Avola), the only Sicilian DOCG denomination.

THE SICILIAN WHITE

Cricket

Grillo is one of the most representative indigenous white grape varieties of Sicily, born from the natural crossing between Catarratto and Zibibbo. For your customers, choose the Grillo in purity from the Gurrieri winery and the Mamertino bianco from the Vigna Nica winery, blended with Inzolia

Two interpretations that highlight, on one hand, the freshness and straightforwardness of the grape variety and, on the other, greater complexity and elegance.

ROSÉ AND SPARKLING WINES

Nocera

Nocera is a grape variety common in the Milazzo area and in the sandy and volcanic soils of Messina. The bottles offered come from the Vigna Nica winery in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, overlooking the Aeolian Islands.

The natural freshness of Nocera allows this red grape variety to be vinified in original styles. To discover the versatility of Nocera, we recommend:

  • to taste it pure, the extra brut sparkling wine produced with the ancestral method.
  • the biodynamic rosé from Vigna Nica, where Nocera and Nero d'Avola balance each other.

THE MOST FAMOUS SICILIAN RED

Nero d'Avola

Symbolic grape variety of Sicily and a key player in the revival of the island's winemaking starting from the 1980s. Offer your customers a bottle to taste it in its pure form and a lesser-known, very special blend:

  • the Nero d'Avola from the Baglio Diar winery
  • the Mamertino D.O.C. from the Vigna Nica winery, an ancient blend already appreciated by the ancient Romans, in which Nero d’Avola is combined with Nocera and Nerello Mascalese

Not just oil

Looking for something special? We'll find it for you in our network of small, top-quality producers.
