Marco and Sandra, chefs and partners of the Stefenelli Desk restaurant in Aosta, lead a fine dining project that highlights the best local ingredients with precision and creativity.

Marco's story begins at sixteen, when, after the loss of his father, he moves to Bonn, Germany, to work in a restaurant. Despite initial challenges, such as the language barrier and long daily walks, Marco makes his way thanks to his talent and dedication.

In the 1990s, German fine dining was very innovative, and Marco absorbed its technique and discipline. This experience led him to cook for internationally prominent figures, including Nobel Peace Prize laureates like Willy Brandt and Yāsser ʿArafāt.

Today, with Stefenelli Desk, Marco and Sandra offer an essential cuisine that enhances local ingredients, reflecting an ethical and sustainable approach to food.
