This spreadable cream is made from 100% blanched almonds of the Pizzuta di Avola variety , one of the most prized in the world for its unique flavor profile and superior quality. This blanched almond cream is made without added sugars, preservatives, or artificial ingredients: just almonds, for those seeking pure flavor and wholesome ingredients.

While the pasta is cooking in abundant salted water, prepare the cream: in a bowl, combine the almond cream with extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, a pinch of salt and pepper, and a few tablespoons of the pasta cooking water until smooth and creamy. Drain the pasta al dente, reserving a little of the cooking water, and immediately toss it with the cream. Add the grated lemon zest, the hand-torn basil, and, if necessary, another tablespoon of water to combine. Serve with a sprinkling of pepper and, if desired, a few roughly chopped toasted almonds.

 

Almond and Chocolate Cream

For those with refined tastes or needing a sweet treat, this spread with Pizzuta di Avola almonds and dark chocolate is ideal.
