Loved in the kitchens of many countries, such as Morocco and Turkey, it is a versatile aromatic herb that can become a precious ally in everyday cooking.

Mint is incredibly useful for reducing gastrointestinal and premenstrual pain, thanks to its relaxing action on the involuntary muscles of the stomach and intestines. It also seems to act positively on the manifestations of migraines and headaches, reducing them. Useful remedy against colds.

Sari Azienda Agricola

Sari was born from the dream of Roberto Carbone, a young entrepreneur from Catania, who transformed a small plot of volcanic land on the slopes of Etna into an oasis of biodiversity. Among the intense scents of medicinal plants and the vivid colors of nature, Roberto cultivates not only the land but also innovative ideas while remaining deeply connected to the Etna volcano. Each plant is a tribute to the richness of the Etna territory and to the passion of those who choose to stay and enhance it.

Chickpea, Feta and Mint Salad

To make a chickpea, feta and dried mint salad, mix 250 g of cooked chickpeas with 100 g of crumbled feta, 1 diced cucumber and 10 cherry tomatoes cut in half. Dress with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, the juice of ½ lemon, 1 teaspoon of crumbled dried mint, salt, pepper and, if you like, a pinch of cumin. Mix well, leave to flavour for 15 minutes and serve fresh, perhaps with pita bread.
