Robert Moretti, Executive Director and Chef, together with his longtime friend Matteo Corridori, runs the five-star MUSA hotel on Lake Como. After international experiences in Michelin-starred restaurants in London and Dubai, the two chefs returned to their homeland to create a sustainable hospitality project.
MUSA is more than a hotel: it is a hospitality concept that promotes accessible and sustainable luxury, far from the standards of traditional tourist hotels. Every detail is designed to engage guests in responsible choices, such as the invitation to reuse towels to reduce waste and the installation of a photovoltaic system to eliminate the hotel’s emissions.
The hotel rooms are dedicated to women who changed the world, like Joan of Arc, reflecting the female influence of the owner Claire, who fulfilled her childhood dream of opening a hotel on Lake Como.
With their cuisine, Robert and Matteo aim to speak to the guests’ hearts, offering a culinary experience that combines technique, passion, and sustainability, in an environment that celebrates the beauty and essence of the region.
