Boniviri bitter orange compote is a handcrafted jam with a strong and aromatic taste, made with organic bitter oranges grown in Sicily , harvested at the right point of ripeness. The handcrafted process preserves the intense aroma and natural properties of the fruit.
Without added pectin, preservatives or artificial flavours, it is sweetened only with organic cane sugar, in limited quantities, to leave room for the true soul of the bitter orange. Contains 67% fruit.

Agricolab

The story of Agricolab begins with the meeting between Peppe and Fawn, which took place in 2010 in Argentina. After having lived and managed a business in Singapore, they returned to Sicily with the intention of exploring the island in search of small producers, both male and female, and quality raw materials. Their mission is to create a network in the agricultural supply chain, bringing together farmers and peasants with a story to tell. The stories of people and territories become the main ingredients of the menu of Agricolab, a restaurant that Peppe and Fawn founded in 2018 after exploring the best food and wine offerings in Sicily.

Orange Hearts

Ingredients (for 6 cakes):
• 150 g wholemeal flour
• 50 g brown sugar
• 60 ml seed oil
• 100 ml orange juice (about 2 small oranges)
• Grated zest of 1 organic orange
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 pinch of salt
• 6 teaspoons of bitter orange jam

Procedure:
1. In a bowl mix sugar, orange juice, oil and zest;
2. Add the sifted flour with yeast and salt, mix with a whisk until you get a smooth dough;
3. Pour a spoonful of batter into each muffin tin, add a teaspoon of jam to the center, then cover with more batter.
4. Bake at 180°C for about 25 minutes or until golden.
