Obtained from the slow evaporation of the Marsala sea water, this Citrus Fior di Sale releases all the freshness and intensity of Sicilian citrus fruits. To create the grains we use the whole fruit, not just the peel, to ensure a full and persistent aroma. After careful processing, the citrus fruits are naturally dehydrated, creating a perfect balance between the minerality of the salt and the citrus notes.

Thanks to its reduced sodium content and the addition of orange and lemon, this salt represents a healthier alternative to traditional salt, enriching dishes with the antioxidant and vitamin properties of citrus fruits.

Perfect for raw fish, white meat, baked vegetables and crunchy breading, it is also surprising with dark chocolate, for those who love sophisticated contrasts and the perfect balance between sweet and salty.

Compared to traditional salt, flavored salt reduces the amount of sodium and is enriched with the flavor and beneficial nutrients of lemon and orange slices:

A recipe for you

Warm Chocolate Heart with Orange and Lemon Fleur de Sel

To make 8 chocolate cupcakes, sift 60g of 0 flour with 40g of potato starch into a bowl, add 70g of sugar and 60g of cocoa powder, mixing with a whisk. Roughly chop 100g of dark chocolate in a large bowl. Heat 300g of soy milk over a low heat and, when it almost boils, pour it over the chopped chocolate, stirring until it melts. Once cooled, add 100g of sunflower seed oil and mix well. Add the flour, cocoa and sugar mixture to the chocolate cream, mixing with a spatula until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Grease the aluminum muffin cups with seed oil, sprinkle them with bitter cocoa and fill them with the mixture, leaving about a finger from the edge. Bake in a static oven at 180°C for 14 minutes. Once ready, decorate the surface with melted dark chocolate and a sprinkling of orange and lemon fleur de sel to enhance the flavor.
