Made by Agricolab with almonds grown by the Sallicano farm, in the heart of Sicily, this cream enhances all the intense and refined aroma of the most prized almond in the world.

Contains 25% dark chocolate, a percentage designed not to cover, but to enhance the authentic flavor of the Pizzuta almond. No added sugars, preservatives or artificial ingredients: only two ingredients, carefully selected and carefully processed to preserve all their properties.

Agricolab

The story of Agricolab begins with the meeting between Peppe and Fawn, which took place in 2010 in Argentina. After having lived and managed a business in Singapore, they returned to Sicily with the intention of exploring the island in search of small producers, both male and female, and quality raw materials. Their mission is to create a network in the agricultural supply chain, bringing together farmers and peasants with a story to tell. The stories of people and territories become the main ingredients of the menu of Agricolab, a restaurant that Peppe and Fawn founded in 2018 after exploring the best food and wine offerings in Sicily.

A recipe for you

Tart with chocolate almond cream

Ingredients:250 g of type 2 flour 80 g of whole cane sugar 70 g of sunflower seed oil 60 g of vegetable milk (almond or oat) 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1 pinch of salt grated zest of half a lemon (optional) 1 jar of almond and chocolate cream.

Procedure:prepare the shortcrust pastry: in a bowl combine the flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Add the oil and vegetable milk a little at a time, kneading until the mixture becomes smooth and homogeneous. Shape into a loaf, wrap it in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and line a previously oiled tart pan (22 cm). Prick the bottom with a fork. Fill with the Boniviri cream, distributing it evenly. With the leftover shortcrust pastry, create the strips for the classic grill decoration. Bake in a static oven at 170 °C for 25–30 minutes, until golden.
