A UNIQUE INSTALLATION
MADE BY SICILIAN ARTISTS AND CRAFTSMEN.
A carpet of almond shells from processing waste covers the 30sqm surface of the installation, emulating the sounds and sensations of a walk along the almond groves of Noto, and offering the opportunity to 'live' a key element of the project: circularity. At the end of their stay in Rinascente they will be donated in order to be used, for example, for the commissioning of the ovens of local bakeries.
Under the shells, the cloths used in the countryside for harvesting olives and almonds.
At the center of the installation is a set table. It is not just any table: a long tablecloth of handmade raw cotton, made in collaboration with Rizma project by Bruna Cattano, covers it. At its base is a botanical landscape of roots hand-printed with natural colors - oats, olive trees, wild carrots, river flowers - that rise from the ground and intersect each other, forming a single network, a metaphor for Boniviri's philosophy: only together, growers and consumers, can build a more equitable society.

In front of each chair, (the thonet used in the rural history of Sicily) takes place a ceramic plate, made and painted entirely by hand by Alessandra Tranchina, co-founder and marketing and communication manager of Boniviri, with the support of MUD, a ceramic coworking in the heart of the historic center of Palermo.
