Fior di Sale al Datterino is born from the encounter between the tradition of Marsala sea salt, extracted through the slow evaporation of sea water, and the intense aromas of dried Sicilian datterino tomatoes, combined with oregano hand-picked on the slopes of Etna. This unique mix gives a strong aromatic flavor, perfect for enhancing any dish.

It is a healthier alternative to traditional salt, thanks to the lower quantity of sodium and the addition of the beneficial properties of dried datterino tomatoes and oregano, known for their antioxidant, antibacterial and digestive power.

Ideal for seasoning salads, vegetables, bruschetta, focaccia, white meats and crispy breading, this Fior di Sale brings all the aroma of the Mediterranean to the table.

Compared to traditional salt, flavored salt reduces the amount of sodium and is enriched with flavor and beneficial nutrients:

Oregano: Natural antibacterial and antiseptic, aids digestion, colds and sore throats, excellent in herbal teas and essential oils.

Sari Azienda Agricola

Sari was born from the dream of Roberto Carbone, a young entrepreneur from Catania, who transformed a small plot of volcanic land on the slopes of Etna into an oasis of biodiversity. Among the intense scents of medicinal plants and the vivid colors of nature, Roberto cultivates not only the land but also innovative ideas while remaining deeply connected to the Etna volcano. Each plant is a tribute to the richness of the Etna territory and to the passion of those who choose to stay and enhance it.

A recipe for you

Lentil meatballs with flavored mayo

To prepare these meatballs, cook 100 g of black lentils and blend them with 2-3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon of Datterino and Oregano Fleur de Sel, 60 g of sunflower seed oil, 6 dried tomatoes, 10 g of EVO oil and rice milk without added sugar, until you obtain a compact mixture with which to form about 12 meatballs, to brown in a pan. For the sauce, brown 1 chopped carrot and 1 clove of garlic, add 1 level tablespoon of potato starch and gradually incorporate 300 g of red wine, mixing until you obtain a glaze, to be adjusted with 1 level tablespoon of brown sugar and Boniviri Za'atar. The mayo is made by emulsifying sunflower seed oil, soy milk, a few drops of lemon juice and Datterino and Oregano Fleur de Sel. Serve by placing the glaze on the plate, placing 3-4 meatballs on top and finishing with a quenelle of mayo.
